In short

• Xplodia is an online IELTS Reading practice platform with an AI tutor called Dio. It is currently free.
• Xplodia is not affiliated with the organizations that run IELTS. Scores and estimated bands here are estimates, not official results.
• Dio's answers are generated by AI and can be wrong.
• You may use Xplodia's questions and materials for your own study, but not copy or resell them.

About these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the xplodia.app website and the practice app at learn.xplodia.app ("Xplodia", "we"). By using Xplodia, including trying a practice without an account, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Xplodia.

These terms are available in Indonesian and English. If the two versions differ, the Indonesian version applies.

Our service

Xplodia provides IELTS Reading practice questions, lessons, practice reports with explanations, and Dio, an AI tutor that explains the questions you are working on. We keep adding and changing features, so the service may differ over time.

Not an official IELTS service

IELTS is jointly owned by the British Council, IDP IELTS, and Cambridge University Press & Assessment. Xplodia is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any of them. Our questions are written by our team for practice and are not official exam questions. The scores, accuracy, and estimated bands we show are estimates only and do not guarantee your exam result.

Accounts

• You sign in with your Google account. Keep access to that Google account secure, because all activity on your Xplodia account is treated as yours.
• You can try a practice without an account. That practice is stored in a guest account tied to the browser you use, and moves to your account when you sign in with Google.
• One account per person. Do not use someone else's account or share yours.

Users under 18

Students under 18 may use Xplodia with the consent of a parent or guardian. By using Xplodia, you confirm you have that consent.

Pricing

Xplodia is currently free. If we add paid features later, we will announce them first, and you will never be charged for anything you did not choose yourself.

Dio, the AI tutor

• Dio's answers are generated by AI. Dio can be wrong, so check its explanations against the passage and the answer explanations.
• Dio has a daily question limit, which we may change.
• Do not share sensitive personal data in conversations with Dio. How conversations are stored and processed is explained in our Privacy Policy.

What you may not do

• Copy, bulk download, or redistribute Xplodia's questions, passages, explanations, or materials, including to sell them or to train AI models.
• Access Xplodia by automated means (bots, scrapers, scripts) or try to get around usage limits, including Dio's quota.
• Try to make Dio reveal answer keys early, or use Dio for anything other than studying.
• Disrupt, deceive, or harass other users, including in clubs.
• Spread malicious code, try to access other people's accounts or data, or break any applicable law.

Content and intellectual property

Xplodia's questions, passages, lessons, explanations, design, and software belong to Xplodia or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to use them for your own study.

What you write on Xplodia, such as questions to Dio, question reports, and club names and announcements, remains yours. You give us permission to use it to run and improve the service, for example to fix a question you reported.

Clubs

Club hosts are responsible for their club's name, description, and announcements. In a club set to Classroom mode, the host can see members' learning analysis, as described in our Privacy Policy. Only join clubs whose host you trust.

Service availability

We work to keep Xplodia running, but we do not guarantee that the service will always be available, error free, or uninterrupted. We may change, pause, or stop specific features.

Suspension and account deletion

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You can stop using Xplodia at any time and ask for your account to be deleted at xplodia.app@gmail.com, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of liability

Xplodia is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from using or being unable to use Xplodia, including your IELTS exam result, decisions you make based on Dio's answers, or loss of data.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. We will first try to resolve any dispute through discussion, and then through the channels provided by Indonesian law.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The date at the top of this page always shows the latest version. For significant changes, we will let you know in the app or on this website before they take effect. If you keep using Xplodia afterwards, you are treated as agreeing to the updated terms.
