IELTS Reading practice with an AI tutor right beside you
Meet Dio. It sees the question you are on, so just point at what confuses you and Dio explains it.
Learn it, practice it, prove it
Every Reading question type has its own path: learn the strategy in a lesson, check your starting point in a pretest, practice until it clicks, then prove it in a posttest.
Learn the strategy first
Before you practice, learn how to approach the question type in a short lesson.
- One idea per page
- Comprehension checks, each with an explanation
- Stuck? Ask Dio for a hint
Practice like the real test
Answer the way you would on test day, then check your answers. Every question has an explanation, and your report shows which question types still need work.
- Answer formats that match the real test
- An explanation under every question
- Accuracy by question type, sorted weakest first
Move on once you have mastered it
Each practice gets a mastery score from your recent results. The posttest opens once every practice in the part is Mastered (a mastery score of 85% or more).
- A pretest to see where you start
- A mastery score on every practice
- The posttest opens once all are Mastered
A tutor that sees the question you are on
Dio reads the question and passage you are working on, so there is nothing to copy into another app. Mark the sentence that confuses you, and Dio highlights the key sentence in the passage.
- Point at a sentence or a question, then ask
- Before you check, Dio gives hints, not the answer
- After you check, Dio explains and highlights the key sentence
- With you in practice, review and lessons

Each part covers one family of question types, for example Part 1: True / False / Not Given and Yes / No / Not Given. Each practice has a mastery score based on your recent results. The part's posttest opens once its pretest is done and every practice is Mastered (a mastery score of 85% or more).
Dio sees the question and passage you are working on, so you can point straight at the sentence or question that confuses you. Before you check your answers, Dio cannot see the answer key, so it gives hints. After you check, it explains why your answer is right or wrong, highlights the key sentence in the passage, and answers follow-up questions. There is a daily limit on questions to Dio.
